I am grateful to have been able to explore this very question with two incredible dancers and dear friends Stephen John Quinlan and Justin De Luna, and choreographer Axelle Munezero. "With this video and song we sought to examine the elements both physical and emotional that stand in the way of our ability to love and be loved – feelings of complacency, loss of autonomy and freedom, and the contradictory desire for something which is no longer new to feel fresh, as though you are experiencing each other again for the very first time," she writes. Braids' new album Shadow Offering is due out June 19 (postponed from April), and the latest single they've shared is "Just Let Me," which is accompanied by a video the band's Raphaelle Standell-Preston directed.
